We have just returned from a one week holiday at the minerva yesterday for our first wedding anniversary. I just wanted to write something to say how fantastic this hotel is. Before hand we werent sure how far up teh hill this hotel would be, it is just far enogh to have exceptional views but not too far that it is very close to walk into the main square and marinas.
It was our first trip to Sorrento and we hope to definately return again at some point, if we do I would not look at another hotel as our stay at the minerva was superb.
We were in one of the attic rooms at the top which although has a small window had a beautiful view of the bay and was very clean.
All of our meals at the hotel were fantastic. a big thank you to all of the staff as everyone was so lovely and helpful, the restaurant staff were fantastic and more than helpful preparing us a packed lunch when we were going on an excursion. Also a big thankyou to Antonio in the bar who mixes a lovely cocktail and was always so friendly to us both. The food, drink and views are so good there is no need to go far!

The Minerva holds a special place in my heart. It's paradise on earth. Beautiful old world hotel with breath taking views over the Bay of Naples. From the moment you arrive you step down a gear; absorbed into the Minerva Family and enjoy the best that Italy has to offer. The sheer joy of de-stressing in this wonderful hotel cannot be described in words, you must visit to experience for yourself. Apart from the stunning location, the staff ensure your stay will leave you longing to return - I know I will - just not soon enough!
